Dance Teacher

Showcase Dance is looking to hire 2-5 responsible instructors for the upcoming 2024-2025 dance season.Job would include: Teaching 1-3 weekdays (very flexible on scheduling)Competition or Recreational Instructors needed.Working with ages anywhere from 3-15 in styles that may include: tap, jazz, hip-hop, ballet, lyrical, contemporary and musical theater.Choreographing pieces from small groups to productions (40+ dancers) to solos/duos/trios.Ideal Candidate:2+ years of competitive or recreational dance teaching experienceStrong recommendations and references, also examples of choreographyPunctuality and responsibilityAbility to work collaborativelyStrong communication & organizational skillsStrong work ethic and dedication to your jobEnergetic, outgoing and positive personalityDevotion to technique, cleanliness of routines and promoting team workKnowledge of dance terminology and proper techniqueAbility to teach acro/gymnastics skills is a PLUS
