We need someone who can handle preparing food stations, cooking a high-volume of food, and ensuring that all food safety and storage regulations are followed. Location:Your Place Restaurant & Sports Pub2133 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA, 17602.Responsibilities:Stock ingredients needed for food items by washing, cutting, dicing, or slicing them as needed.Cook food according to instructions provided in recipes, on food order slips, or through verbal directions.Check food temperatures with thermometers to ensure that food has reached safe levels of heat for consumption.Recognize and adhere to quality requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products, as well as correct storage and waste management.Maintain work stations, including all countertops, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration in a clean and sanitary condition per health and safety regulations. Clean equipment and work surfaces at the end of each shift, including sweeping floors, mopping, and cleaning counters.Take verbal or phone orders from customers and transacting payments while providing friendly and courteous service.Qualifications:Prior fast food or quick service restaurant industry experience is highly desired.Ability to understand and comply with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage regulations.Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers.Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic.Scheduling and Compensation:$17-$18 per hour to startWork schedule may vary based on business levels.Some nights and weekends may be required.Raises and advancements based on performance.
