Other intern positions available: public relations, advertising & promotion manager, brand ambassadors, fundraisers, marketing manager, event planner Job Description: energizeHER is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Communication and Social Media Interns to join our team and assist in spreading the word about the energizeHER village for girls. As a Communication and Social Media Intern, you will play a key role in creating engaging content, managing social media channels, and fostering meaningful connections with our target audience, as well as, in-person events and connection opportunities.Responsibilities:Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.Create and curate content for energizeHER's social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok.Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with our online community.Assist in the creation of blog posts, newsletters, and other communication materials to share updates and information about energizeHER Village.Conduct research to identify trends, topics, and influencers relevant to our target audience.Attend energizeHER events and activities to capture content and support onsite communication efforts.Assist in tracking and analyzing social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of our online initiatives.Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve our online presence.Contribute creative ideas and suggestions to enhance energizeHER's communication and social media strategies.Qualifications:Currently enrolled in a degree program in communication, marketing, journalism, or a related field.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for storytelling.Knowledge of social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok.Creative thinker with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Previous experience in social media management or content creation is a plus.Benefits:Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in communication and social media marketing.Mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals in the field.Flexible schedule with the option for remote work.Networking opportunities with industry professionals and fellow interns.Potential for growth and advancement within the organization.This position has the potential of becoming a FULL-TIME PAID position this year.
