Role Overview:
As a Client Advisor specializing in Finance and Banking, you will collaborate closely with end-users to discern their needs, guide technical projects, and catalyze process improvements within financial operations. Your responsibilities will include data analysis, identifying operational inefficiencies, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Engagement with End Users:
Forge close partnerships with end-users to elicit requirements, identify pain points, and unearth opportunities for process optimization and automation.
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment of project objectives with user needs and business objectives.
Data Analysis and Insights:
Leverage financial data, performance metrics, and quality control data to derive actionable insights and pinpoint areas for improvement.
Collaborate with end-users to define key performance indicators (KPIs), developing dashboards and reports to monitor financial performance and track progress against objectives.
Project Guidance and Implementation:
Provide guidance on technical projects related to financial process enhancements, automation endeavors, and system upgrades.
Work collaboratively with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, conduct user acceptance testing, and ensure seamless solution implementation.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
Lead cross-functional teams in identifying process bottlenecks, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to drive operational excellence.
Facilitate workshops, Kaizen events, and process mapping sessions to engage end-users and foster consensus on improvement opportunities.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, best practices, and quality management systems within financial operations.
Conduct audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Preferred Skills:
Expertise in data warehousing, ELT (Extract, Load, Transform), ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), data lakes, Snowflake, Power BI, and SQL.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or Computer Science. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., MBA, PMP, ITIL) are advantageous.
A minimum of 6+ years of consulting experience with a focus on business strategy and analysis.
Proven track record in both technology and business consulting roles, demonstrating a profound understanding of technology solutions and their impact on business operations.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
