Children's Ministry Coordinator

Join the staff of East Cobb United Methodist Church as our new Director of Childrens Ministry!The Childrens Ministry Coordinator will create a Sunday School and Children's Church program that encompasses all aspects of the churchs mission: Gathering to embrace God and all people, Growing in faith, love, and joy, and Going into the world to serve and share Jesus.The Coordinator position is part-time, with an average of 10 hours per week with Sunday mornings required. This position will be filled by a committed, confessing Christian with experience working with children in preschool through 5th grade. Classroom and church experience is preferred, including but not limited to teaching, lesson planning, and recruiting volunteers. The ideal candidate is creative with a willingness to innovate and work collaboratively with a team of staff and volunteers.
