Child Care Teacher

Our staff actively participate in all activities and ensure each child has a pleasant, fun and welcoming experience at Grantham Childrens Academy, Our team is committed to fostering a partnership with families to best meet the needs of all children in our program.As a member of the teaching team, meet the care, developmental and educational needs for a designated age group of children within Grantham Children's Academy. Work with all staff to create a warm, positive, homelike environment that fosters supportive relationships between families and staff. Help provide a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment both in and out of doors.We are very supportive of staff training and growing with the organization, and pay scales over time with years of experience.Duties may include:- General management and oversight of daycare operations- Cleaning interactive areas throughout the day- Preparing meals and snacks for the kids- Organizing activities and developing curriculum for older children- Developing a schedule for the children to maintain throughout the day- Keeping records of each child's progress, interests, and any problems that may occur- Maintaing contact with the children's parents and contacting them in the case of emergency- Ensuring the children have good hygiene and changing diapers as necessaryCertifications (preferred / not required):- Associates in Early Childhood or related field- Bachelors in Early Childhood or related field- CDAJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hourBenefits: ChildcareEmployee discountFlexible schedulePaid time offProfessional development assistance Schedule: 8 hour shiftMonday to Friday Work Location: In person
