Caregiver

Caregiver Job DescriptionDuties:- Provide direct support and care to individuals in need, including seniors and those with disabilities or medical conditions.- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.- Prepare meals and ensure proper nutrition for clients.- Administer medications and assist with medication management.- Drive clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.- Monitor and manage behaviors, providing behavior management techniques when necessary.- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.Qualifications:- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.- Ability to lift and assist with transfers of clients (up to a certain weight limit).- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus.- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.- Familiarity with dementia care and understanding of the challenges associated with memory loss.- Ability to follow care plans and adhere to established protocols and procedures.- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.At Inspired Living at Hidden Lakes, we offer competitive pay rates, flexible scheduling options, ongoing training opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
