Campground Worker

Local campground/RV park looking for seasonal staff. Currently hiring for groundskeepers, office staff and apparel store. Work in a fun atmosphere, meet people from all parts of the world and spend your day in a campground. Looking for someone with customer service experience, friendly and welcoming to all campers. Knowledge of the surrounding area to help give directions and knowledge about RVs and general camping is a plus. Process sales, welcome guests and assist in general sales of merchandise in gift shop. Typing and general computer skills required. Employee will be required to stand for long periods of time. Will be working in all types of weather conditions. Students and retirees encouraged to apply.Essential Job Duties include, but are not limited to:Office Staff/Apparel Store;1. Respond to incoming telephone calls, ensuring that these are answered promptly and questions are answered accurately.2. Operate computer reservation and point of sale systems.3. Greet guests and campground visitors, provide accurate information on campground amenities, services, and policies.4. Operate the campground office including sales, stocking, merchandising, and housekeeping duties5. Answer reservation requests and voicemails in a prompt, efficient, and friendly manner.6. Follow all required security protocols to ensure that customer information is safe & secure in accordance with legal guidelines.7. Maintain accurate financial records of sales, carrying out regular balances of transactions.Groundskeeper;1. Maintain appearance of grounds. Duties include; mowing, ground pick up, trash removal, weed eating etc. 2. Lead campers to their site and ensure they are positioned correctly. 3. Daily cleaning of restrooms.4. Monitor campground and campers.
