While enjoying the beautiful sunshine, you can create lifelong connections, valuable experiences and be a positive influence on youth.As a Summer Camp Counselor, you willprovide ablend of leadership andinspiration to campers.Camp is a place for EVERYONE!Camp Winacka - A traditional rustic camp with spectacular views. The camp features a pool, miles of hiking trails, green building including a new environmental center and two lakes. Campers choose from programs focusing on aquatics, horses, arts and adventure. Campers and staff sleep in open-air cabins with built-in bunk beds, in platform tents with bunk beds or on cots under the stars.Camp Whispering Oaks - Features a sports field and basketball court tucked amongst oak and pine trees, unique stargazing venues, abundant wildlife and a small, close-knit camp community. Campers choose from programs focusing on science and space, outdoor skills, sports, theater and the arts. Campers and staff sleep in fully enclosed indoor cabins with electricity and paved, lighted pathways winding through native manzanita, oak and pine trees.Experience and Skills:Must be at least 18 years of ageAble to work the full summer camp season - June 15, 2024 - August 10, 2024Able to work outdoors and live onsite at camp during the camp seasonAbility to work with children and staff of different agesAbility to walk and stand for long periods of timeWilling to work in an outdoor setting and live on camp premises during the summerCurrent First Aid/CPR/AED certification, or able to obtain certification before the first day of workValid drivers license, proof of insurance and access to reliable transportation (Daily and/or occasional travel may be required.Compensation: $92.00 - $104.00 daily rate.Room and board, plus meals, included in compensationInternship credit may be available (Universities may provide college credit working at Camp)* This is a temporary seasonal employment opportunity.We can't wait to meet you!
