Brand Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: The Spirit Brand Manager will sell, market & host spirit tastings and events throughout Connecticut territories. This includes introducing the brands to accounts and to consumers through account visits and account activation. RESPONSIBILITIES: Represent and sell specific brand(s) through the customer base in the state of Connecticut. Responsible for documenting account visits, including which products were sampled or discussed, information on depletion, the state of the accounts shelf-set, and recommended next-steps for the account. Generate leads, and open accounts at the discretion of Murphy Promote products or services at various events and locations Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service Create brand awareness through social media management and online marketing efforts Conduct product demos and provide information about the features and benefits of the brand's offerings Assist with event marketing initiatives, including setup, teardown, and logistics coordinationDeliver public speaking engagements to educate and inform audiences about the brand Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position May perform other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Associates degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experienceMinimum of 2 years experience in Sales or Promotion workStrong market knowledge to effectively promote the brand and its products or servicesBasic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation softwareAbility to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlinesAnalytic and Reporting skillsUtilize sound judgment and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environmentMust be at least 21 years of ageMust possess a valid Drivers LicenseMust have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
