Behavioral Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Specialist, you will work with students grades K-12 with developmental disabilities to provide support and implement behavior intervention plans. Your role will involve crisis intervention, data collection, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. If you have a passion for helping others and a background in behavioral health or special education, we encourage you to apply.Duties:- Conduct assessments and develop behavior intervention plans based on individual needs- Implement behavior support strategies and techniques to promote positive behaviors- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary- Collaborate with teachers, counse , and other school professionals and parents to ensure continuity of care and emotional stability- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to intervention plans- Assist students in developing daily coping skills and promoting independence- Utilize applied behavior analysis principles to guide interventions and support strategies- Maintain accurate documentation of services providedRequirements:- Some College in psychology, social work, special education, or related fieid- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques- Passion for working with school children grades K - 12.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team- Background Check (I-Chat)-Reliable TransportationWe offer competitive compensation packages including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
