Baristas are responsible for mastering all coffee and non-coffee drinks on Hook & Press menu and are able to execute them with exceptional skill and attention to detail. Our Baristas are responsible for creating thoughtful, personalized experiences for our guests by welcoming them into the shop, happily answering questions, ringing up their order and preparing beverages.Our Baristas daily interactions with each individual guest are a vital part of what makes the Hook & Press experience so special. Our unique donuts, drinks and menu speak for themselves, but it takes an awesome front of house team to make our guests' experience a remarkable one. Baristas report directly to the Lead Barista, who reports to the Store Manager. WHO WERE LOOKING FORLike anyone else on our team, Baristas must provide friendly and individualized attention towards each guest. Baristas will complete training with the Lead Barista to master advanced coffee-making skills, build a strong foundation of knowledge on the types of coffee and non-coffee products we use (including beer and wine) and their tasting notes, gain exceptional hospitality skills, and learn how to handle many different situations that may arise at the bar.SKILLS RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIREMENTS DETAILS + BENEFITSEducation: High school or equivalent (preferred)Language: English (required)Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
