With a focus on excellence and innovation, we provide a dynamic training environment where athletes can thrive and achieve their athletic goals.Job Description:We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sports Performance Coach to join our team part time, with the goal of being hired on full time within the first year of employment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strength and conditioning, as well as experience working with athletes of all levels. As an assistant Sports Performance Coach, you will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs tailored to the individual needs of our athletes. You will work closely with our team to ensure that each athlete receives the support and guidance they need to succeed.Responsibilities:Design and implement personalized training programs for athletes based on their goals, abilities, and sport-specific needs.Conduct fitness assessments and evaluations to track progress and adjust training programs as needed.Provide coaching and instruction during training sessions to ensure proper technique and form.Monitor and record athlete performance data to track progress and identify areas for improvement.Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to create a supportive and motivating training environment.Stay up-to-date on the latest research and trends in sports performance training to continually enhance our programs.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the NSCA or equivalent certification or willing to acquire certification within first six months of employment.Previous experience working as a strength and conditioning coach, preferably in a sports performance setting.Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, biomechanics, and sports nutrition.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively with athletes of all ages and skill levels.Passion for helping athletes reach their full potential and achieve their goals.Benefits:Set hourly payOpportunities for professional developmentAccess to facilities and equipmentPositive and supportive work environmentIf you are a dedicated and enthusiastic coach with a passion for sports performance training, we want to hear from you!
