Job DescriptionMAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:This role requires someone to work under the Visual Merchandise Director and in collaboration with Communications Team and Sales Team with the objective of creating an integrated and effective customer experience:- Collaborate with leadership to create and build an exceptional VM experience on the showroom floor.- Become knowledgeable of brands, materials and industry trends and standards, specifically for a New York architectural and interior design market.- Assist in the planning and execution of a comprehensive merchandise map.- Establish and maintain relationships with vendor network.- Oversee and ensure timely inbound/outbound movement of physical merchandise.- Support merchandising director in maximizing sales by continuously displaying relevant as well as inspirational/provocational pieces.- Through our SAP system, learn to compile data and analyze sales trends to help develop VM strategy.- Monitor showroom conditions, displays and signage to ensure quality and order.- Review order information to ensure its integrity and accuracy.- Work with Communications team to ensure integration of physical and digital experience.- Integrate and coordinate showroom activities with marketing activities, including events, social media, promotions, newsletters etc.- Work as liaison across teams to communicate and educate on product/merchandise updates.- Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment by establishing supportive working relationships with team members.- Ad hoc tasks as necessary.Job QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:Candidate must have/be:- At least one year experience in a visual merchandising role.- Bachelor degree preferred.- Adobe Suite and CAD proficiency.
