The role requires a team player who is self-motivated, multi- task oriented, and tech savvy. This exciting space includes the use of Vexcel Data Services in AI and machine learning applications, as well as various innovative use-cases in partnership with leading technology companies.This role will be based in Belen, NM, but with potential to travel the entire US and possibly abroad.Role Responsibilities:Fly in a light-twin/single engine aircraft at low/high altitude with occasional turbulenceOperate airborne LiDAR, GPS, digital camera and IMU equipment during flight.Monitor navigation equipment during the flight to ensure proper tracking and altitudeDownload and ship acquisition imagery data post flight.Prepare & maintain flight log, daily reports, and other paperwork after each flight missionAssist in the removal, repair and installation of airborne LiDAR, Cameras and other sensor equipmentAssist in various Flight Operations as neededReview flight logs and validate against actual trajectoriesAssess quality of track files, flight lines as executed, and provide feedbackQualifications:High School diploma requiredMust hold valid Driver's License with an acceptable historySkills:Strong computer/technical skills (MS Office Suite)Proficient using flight planning software and GPS session planning software toolsAbility to assess weather suitability for flight missionsStrong interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skillsStrong time management skills & ability to multi-taskStrong analytical & problem-solving skillsAbility to work well and contribute in a team atmosphereWhat Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)College degreeJob Type: Full-timePay: From $17.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 40 per weekBenefits: 401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveVision insurance Compensation package: Bonus opportunities Schedule: 12 hour shift8 hour shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayWeekends as needed Ability to Relocate: Belen, NM 87002: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
