ADMIN MORGANTON Rainy Pass Repair, Inc. has been in the business of improving outdoor adventures for over 35 years. We perform repairs and alterations on specialty fabrics such as waterproof breathables, nylons, and other fabrics and components found in rainwear, skiwear and camping equipment. We are looking for a new team member to manage incoming/outgoing inventory. This person should be highly motivated, detail oriented, and committed to providing outstanding customer service in a fast paced environment. It is a plus to have sewing experience or an interest in garment construction.In the role of the Customer Service/Receiving Representative you will play an vital part in the production process of our repair facility. You will be responsible for operating different computer systems, communicating with customers and staff, ensuring quality standards are met, and contributing to a smooth and efficient production workflow. Extreme attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and collaborating with a team positively contributes to the success of our repair operations.Having operated out of Seattle, WA since 1986, we expanded to Morganton, NC and would love for you to join our team. What to expect: Evaluating inbound/outbound garments and gear with a high level of detail High volume data entry Communicate with customers to understand what is required to be repaired and determine how to ensure that their specifications are met. Independently prioritize tasks and quickly pivot as needed Provide support as needed to turn projects around quickly Continually work with the team to evolve operations Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Basic computer skills, an understanding of MacOS is helpful Understanding of shipping / receiving technicalities Ability to lift up to 30lbs Work well individually and within a team Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills A strong sense of time organization and urgency Previous experience in the Outdoor Industry is helpful Close attention to detail To apply: Email a resume and comments about your interest in this position.
