Artera is on a mission to personalize medical decisions for patients and physicians on a global scale.Artera is seeking a self-motivated, dynamic, and data-driven leader to drive all aspects of financial management to help us scale through our next stage of rapid growth. Primary responsibilities include, at minimum, corporate accounting & book-keeping, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. The Financial Controller will oversee day-to-day finance and accounting functions, manage forecast and budgeting, meet with company leaders to ensure divisions are financially healthy, handle tax matters, prepare financial reports, and ensure organizational financial stability.Responsibilities:Manage all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, general ledger activity, and revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with respective standards and regulationsSupport scaling the business, FinTech System Design, and streamlining operations through financial planning, analysis, and strategiesDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsManage the fixed assets, intellectual property and assets of the companyManage revenue recognition from Medical Billing processes and direct customer billingOversee and reconcile the equity administration including stock based compensation and exercise tax calculations and reportingPrepare and present monthly financial statements and reportsCoordinate the preparation of regulatory reportingResearch technical accounting issues for complianceSupport month-end and year-end close processReview and ensure proper coding, grouping and allocation of financial transactionsEnsure quality control, completeness, accuracy, timeliness and grouping over financial transactions and financial reportingManage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filingsOversee and manage relationships with external audit/tax & insurance partnersEducation and Experience Requirements:5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experienceExperience at both a company and a well-known accounting firmThorough knowledge of accounting principles and proceduresExperience with creating financial statementsExperience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close processExcellent accounting software user (Quickbooks) and google suite skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong data analytical and problem-solving skillsEqual Employee Opportunity: At Artera, we value bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds to develop new and innovative solutions for patients and physicians.
