World Speaks is looking for Spanish instructors/tutors, individuals with flexible schedules (with availability during the week) to provide one-on-one tutoring for the Spanish language.We are looking for passionate individuals with experience teaching Spanish to provide private tutoring lessons. Candidates must have experience teaching individuals and groups of adults or kids in-person and virtually, be able to create curriculum, and dynamic pre-plan lessons, understand Latin American culture, and connect with students in different stages of their language journey.Nature of the job:On-call contractors.In-person and virtual.Minimum 3 months commitment.Requirements:Based in Nebraska.High School GED or Equivalent.Certification/degree to teach Spanish or 1+ years of teaching experience in formal settings.Able to manage Zoom platform, Google Meet, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office programs.Flexible schedule (Availability during the week: morning-afternoon-evening).Our mission: To address socioeconomic gaps and injustices through cultural education, inclusion initiatives, and advocacy services.World SpeaksWorld Speaks is a non-profit organization based in Omaha, Nebraska, that aims to address socioeconomic gaps and injustices through cultural education, inclusion initiatives, and advocacy services.Our vision: World Speaks envisions a world where the voiceless are heard, the marginalized are included, & the vulnerable are safe.World Speaks works together with the members of our community to eliminate language barriers and increase cultural awareness in the Omaha Metro community.Salary: From $21.00 up.
