Revionics is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Writer for an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide a best-in-class online and written communication experience to our internal and external users and customers.

Responsibilities:

Quickly become an expert in assigned products through active participation in planning, design, and team meetings, hands-on product usage, and in-depth interviews of subject matter experts.
Plan, create, and maintain thorough, accurate, and concise end-user documentation (online help, user guides, release notes, training and other materials) that simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences using clear language and visuals.
Create and maintain technical reference documentation (configuration guides, technical release notes, process and procedure guides, system requirements) that empower internal team members to expertly support our customers.
Perform ad hoc product testing and UI text reviews while researching and documenting new features; log bugs and make suggestions for embedded messaging that delivers help at the point of need.
Create and maintain documentation templates, style guides, and manage the content source control system.
Manage localization and translation of UI text and documentation.
Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet all deliverable deadlines.

Experience and Knowledge:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in related subject, with emphasis on writing and communication skills.
Senior level technical communicator with 7+ years’ experience with steadily increasing responsibilities, encompassing both online and print mediums, in the software development industry (big plus if retail related).
Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating professional writing ability; technical content a plus.
Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), preferably in an Agile and SaaS environment, and the use of enterprise-level collaboration, version control, and bug/case tracking software and procedures.
Proven ability to quickly learn complex product features from requirements and design documents, self-exploration of product, and SME interviews, and then synthesize succinct but thorough customer documentation.
Expertise using conditional tagging and CSS variations to create multiple outputs (WebHelp, Word, PDF) from a single-source, XML-based authoring tool such as MadCap Flare or Adobe RoboHelp.
Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Power Point, Excel).
Knowledge and experience in Web applications, HTML, XML, CSS, and Business Intelligence reporting.
Skilled in image capture, cropping, and placement using Snag It or similar tools.
Strong investigative/research/interview orientation and skills.

The pay range for this position is between $83,000 and $93,000 plus Annual Incentive Bonus. Starting salary may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
