Registered Behavior Technicians(RBT) provide 1-on-1 care to children with autism through ABA behavior interventions. Behavior techs provide services in our clinics, family homes, and the community. ABA is a medically prescribed therapy endorsed by the American Medical Association and the US Surgeon General.HHF is Great Place to Work Certified in 2021, 2022 and 2023.This Could be the Job for You ifyou want to work with children on a 1-on-1 want to make a are considering a career as a teacher, nurse, or in a daycare but desire greater career flexibility and growth worked with children previously but want a career path that offers paid training and upward are considering a career in the healthcare industry.Responsibilities:Provide 1-on-1 direct care to children with autism in clinics, at home, or in the community.Manageable case loadTeach daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments and positive reinforcement.Implement therapy sessions designed by a BCBA.Establish a relationship with the client to assess interests and motivators to effectively implement the behavior plan.Accurately collect unbiased behavior data during sessions.Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training.Communicate proactively with fellow RBTs, BCBAs, families, and Clinical Directors to support the clients needs.Maintain BACB Ethical Compliance Code for RBTs.Qualifications: High diploma or equivalent required (associate or bachelors degree in a human services area preferred). Being comfortable working with children. Ability to perform physical tasks, including prolonged periods of walking, running, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and stooping. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Strong communication skills for speaking with clients families and writing session notes. Confident interpersonal skills for interactions with the clients families. Complete company provided RBT training and pass the RBT exam (within 90-days after hire).
