Job DescriptionOur Data team has created this role to support the data engineering team to focus on the highest priority projects that maximize the value of data to internal teams. The initial priority of the role is to support the data engineering manager to manage the large backlog of tickets for our GCP data architecture, and support communication with business stakeholders. Longer term, this role will transition to support the wider data team with initiatives in our internal data visualization platform, and data science projects. This role will report directly to the VP Data & Analytics.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to gather context, requirements, scope, key objectives, and deliverables.Work with data engineers and stakeholders to set realistic timelines and keep relevant teams updated with progress.Develop roadmaps and project plans, including tasks and timelines, and support team managers with resource allocation.Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies - communicating clearly with stakeholders and data leadership as appropriate.Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives).Coordinate project releases and deployments.
