Title: Data Center Cabling Technician CONTRACT (3 weeks to 3 months) LOCATION: The work is located in Fort Worth, TX - near the Roanoke, TX border. OFFICE HOURS: All candidates must be willing to work varying shifts as required by the company and/or the client. We will share more details regarding working hours once we have that information available. For your information, the current expectation is for our resources to work during the Memorial Day weekend, so that they can stay on target for the project's completion.TRAVEL (IF APPLICABLE): Resources must have the ability to get themselves to work early/or on time each day. We need to have reliable resources that can be depended on. HEALTH BENEFITS: Available through TPS TalentJOB DESCRIPTION: Looking for Level 3 and Level 4 Installer resources with Data Center environments experience. Resources must have strong fiber and copper cabling experience, and must be experienced with labeling. Testing experience is a plus. The team will be utilizing the Viavi (MPO and LC) test sets. There will be two phases that the company will be involved in: Phase 1 - This will be the cabling phase. The resources will be running, dressing/securing, cleaning, and potentially testing. This period is anticipated to last two to three weeks. Phase 2 - Two to three resources will be needed at this point. During the second phase the concentration will be for Layer 1 support. Resources are asked to provide their own basic hand tools (basic Installer tool kit). The company and/or the client will provide resources with power tools, testing equipment, etc. Minimum Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience as a Level 3 or Level 4 InstallerMinimum 2 years of experience in fiber and copper cablingExperience in labeling cablesAvailability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidaysNice-to-Have:Testing experience with Viavi (MPO and LC) test setsCertifications such as BICSI RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) or CDCMP (Certified Data Center Management Professional)Candidate is expected to:Demonstrate reliability and punctuality in attendanceAdapt quickly to changing project requirements and schedulesWork collaboratively within a team environmentMaintain high standards of quality and efficiency in all tasks
