Dapper Cadaver manufactures, sells and rents death and science related props to productions, attractions, events and educational facilities worldwide. Join us in our workshop to make products that entertain and help save lives. Full-time or part-time shifts are available. If you have a portfolio or examples of your artwork to share, please send it with your resume. A portfolio is not required for this role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Fabricate, paint and finish small primarily rubber props with quality and speed.Help produce rubber props:Demold items using a drill, pry bar and other hand toolsTrim, clean and patch items using a dremelApply base coats of paint using an autosprayerAssemble items such as skeletons, mannequins, jars and bottlesMeet production quotas and deadline requirementsComplete individual tasks and participate in group buildsFix quality control issues or report them to supervisorsCommunicate process and quality improvements to supervisorsMaintain a clean and safe work stationComplete daily logsEmbrace a positive attitude in a fast paced environmentFollow all Dapper Cadaver policies and proceduresOther responsibilities as assigned by managementEducation and Experience:High school diploma/GED or equivalent1+ years of experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment is required1+ years of experience in art department or rubber manufacturing is preferred Must be professional while manufacturing products that depict nudity or graphic violenceAppreciation for Halloween is preferredJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills requiredFamiliarity with basic hand tools and paint equipmentKnowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, expectations, and procedures in manufacturing Must be able to pass drug screening and background check if requiredPhysical Demands:Light to moderate physical effort required on a constant basisMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsRequired to sit, stand, bend, grasp, twist, reach and move about the facility for an entire shiftPersonal Protective Equipment:Protective equipment such as half face respirators, gloves, safety glasses and steel toed shoes required for specific tasksWork Environment:Work performed in a production warehouse environmentContains any number of elements including but not limited to fumes, dust and noise.Must be able to work as part of a team or independently with limited supervisionSend resume to [email protected]
