IOP Therapist (M-F 9am-2pm)Lexington, Ky Position is M-F from 9am-2pmJob descriptionMary Hunter's Recovery Group is searching for the most qualified, empathic, compassionate, energetic and passionate addiction professionals in the world to provide comprehensive biopsychosocial therapy. We are currently beginning the talent search and vetting process.The Outpatient Substance Abuse Counselor is responsible for coordinating and providing case management and biopsychosocial assessment services to clients as well as group, individual and family counseling for clients within the facility. He/she demonstrates expertise in case management, development of client resources, vocational counseling, discharge/continuing care planning, and placement of clients. He/she works with the treatment team to plan and coordinate the client's movement through the continuum of care.Responsibilities:Conducting chemical dependency evaluations, as well as chemical abuse/dependency aspects of treatment plans and treatment plan updatesAssisting clients in developing measurable chemical dependency related discharge goals and objectivesProviding liaison services between client and familyUpdating treatment plans regularlyQualifications:Minimum of Masters Degree in Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or related field REQUIRED (must be licensed)Three years (3) of working experience as a Counselor preferredChemical Dependency experience strongly preferredThe following licenses are a plus!Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)PsychologistLicensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CDAC)Licensed Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LCDAC)
