Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Work closely with our Director/VP of Partnerships and other team members in the departmentHire and manage a team of Channel Sales Specialists in the North AmericaMarket mapping of the travel agent and telecom retail universe in key cities across North America and creating a distribution roadmap to achieve maximum penetration across the universeOnboard and support new partners as they join the Airalo partner communityBuild and maintain fruitful relationships with the store managers / owners to drive mutual growthDrive visibility and brand awareness for Airalo at point of sale through merchandising / employee trainingDesign and manage a program to educate retailers on eSIM adoptionConduct competitive research and define the Airalo retail distribution roadmap to maintain Airalo’s status as the preferred provider across partnersCollaborate and work with different internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute projects/opportunities successfullyOwn and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual OKRs with regular tracking and progress reportsMust-Haves5+ years of experience in retail channel sales or business development in the travel or telecom industryAt least 2 years’ experience in hiring and leading a teamGood understanding of the retail (preferably the travel and / or telecom retail) channel in North AmericaThis is a largely relationship driven channel. You must be able to forge and nurture relationships with stakeholders across the channelAbility to narrate a good story - Airalo’s unique story and the problem we solve for our users makes it a compelling pitch for partnersAbility to employ sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, consultative selling, and solution sellingAbility to multi-taskExperience with sales and partnerships toolsPerfect verbal and written communication skills in EnglishGood to HavesFamiliarity with the travel or telecom industryPrior work experience in the travel or telecom industryExperience in building and leading a teamCertificates and courses in sales and partnershipsVerbal and written ability in additional local / regional languages
